Privacy policy

Last updated 11 June 2026

NourLabs ("we", "us") is an Australian custom software studio. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you contact us through this website, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, and optionally your company name, budget and project details. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence. We don't buy data about you or collect anything in the background beyond standard server logs (IP address, pages visited, browser type), which we use only to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss your project.
  • To deliver services if you become a client, including invoicing.
  • To keep records we're legally required to keep (for example, tax records).

We don't sell your information, share it with marketers, or add you to mailing lists you didn't ask for.

Who else sees it

Your information is stored with the reputable service providers we use to run the business — email hosting, cloud infrastructure and accounting software. Some of these providers store data outside Australia; we choose providers with security practices consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. We disclose personal information only when required by law.

Security and retention

We protect personal information with access controls, encryption in transit, and by simply not collecting more than we need. We keep enquiry details for as long as is useful to the conversation, and client records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where no legal obligation requires us to keep it). Email [email protected] and we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. Questions are welcome at [email protected].
